Tổng quan

OpenSpace là engine giúp AI agent tự tiến hóa skill qua quá trình sử dụng. Phát triển bởi HKUDS (Data Science Lab, Đại học Hong Kong), MIT license. Hoạt động như MCP server, cắm vào bất kỳ agent nào hỗ trợ MCP: Claude Code, Codex, OpenClaw, Cursor, nanobot.

Ý tưởng: thay vì agent reasoning từ đầu mỗi lần (tốn token), OpenSpace lưu lại pattern thành công dưới dạng skill, tự sửa skill lỗi, và cho phép agent chia sẻ skill với nhau qua cloud community.

Tính năng chính

Self-evolution: skill tự sửa khi bị lỗi (auto-fix), tự cải thiện từ pattern thành công (auto-improve), tự học workflow mới từ thực tế (auto-learn). Có monitoring theo dõi error rate và execution success.
Collective intelligence: agent chia sẻ skill qua cloud community (open-space.cloud). Một agent học được skill mới thì tất cả agent khác đều truy cập được. Upload/download skill bằng một lệnh.
Giảm token: benchmark GDPVal trên 50 task thực tế (payroll, tax, legal, engineering) cho thấy giảm 46% token, tăng 4.2x hiệu quả kinh tế so với baseline.
Hai path sử dụng: Path A cắm vào agent có sẵn qua MCP config + 2 skill files (delegate-task, skill-discovery). Path B dùng trực tiếp như co-worker qua CLI.
Dashboard local theo dõi skill evolution, performance metrics.

Stack kỹ thuật

Python 3.12+. Cài qua pip install -e . từ repo. Chạy như MCP server (openspace-mcp). Config qua environment variables trong MCP config JSON.

Điểm mạnh

Giải quyết vấn đề thực tế: agent lặp lại sai lầm, không học từ kinh nghiệm, tốn token cho task tương tự.
Agent-agnostic: hoạt động với mọi agent hỗ trợ MCP hoặc SKILL.md. Không lock-in vào framework cụ thể.
Benchmark có số liệu rõ: 50 task chuyên nghiệp, 6 ngành, kết quả cải thiện ở tất cả category.

Hạn chế

Repo rất mới (24/03/2026), còn trong giai đoạn đầu. 32 issues mở.
Cloud community (open-space.cloud) mới ra, skill library còn ít.
Yêu cầu Python 3.12+, repo nặng khoảng 50MB do thư mục assets.
Chưa rõ cơ chế kiểm soát chất lượng skill từ community (access control có public/private/team nhưng chưa có rating hay review system).

Phù hợp khi nào

Khi bạn dùng Claude Code, Codex, OpenClaw hoặc agent MCP-compatible và muốn agent tự cải thiện qua thời gian thay vì reasoning lại từ đầu mỗi lần. Phù hợp cho team muốn chia sẻ skill giữa nhiều agent instance.
